As a major hub for corporate relocation activity, real estate transactions involving relocation management companies (RMCs) have become somewhat commonplace in the Houston area.
Ideally, both the listing agents and the buyers’ agents should be well-trained and knowledgeable about the various contract nuances, as well as the rigid procedures that must be followed in these specialized transactions.
That is why RMCs choose to work with real estate firms that have a dedicated relocation department to oversee the process.
If a buyer and/or the buyer’s agent is unfamiliar with relocation transactions, a thorough explanation is often necessary for them to feel more comfortable about the requirements.
